About Us

We both have very happy and vivid childhood memories of the Lake District. What a beautiful adventure playground! We bought Crandy Nook in 2007 and now we’re a part of it.

The challenge of completing the 214 Wainwrights has opened up a whole new world – what a fantastic way, albeit challenging, of discovering what the Lake District has to offer. We have just walked our 170th fell so are nearly 80% of the way there.

We are from the North East of England. Local agents help us manage the property.

Weekly Rates

Breaks offered are Friday-Friday, Monday-Monday, Friday-Monday (weekend) and Monday-Friday (short). Each date shown above is a changeover day. We offer a last minute discount 12% if booked within 21 days of start date, subject to a minimum tariff of £595.

The weekend rate is 75% of the weekly rate, short break rate 65%, minimum £595.
